THE HUGHES AIRCRAFT PRC-74 THAT EVENTUALLY REPLACED THE AN/GRC-9 RADIO GROUP. THIS PARTICULAR
STATION WAS MANUFACTURED IN 1964 AND HAS A RANGE OF 2-12 MEGACYCLES. ORIGINALLY MADE  FOR USB
COMMUNICATION,THIS SET HAS THE LSB MODIFICATION AND RUNS ABOUT 15 WATTS.THE HANDSET IS A UNICOR H-250/U, AND I INCORPORATE AN LS-454/U SPEAKER MADE BY RADALAB INC. THIS STATION ALSO HAS
THE BATTERY PACK WHICH WILL OPERATE IN THE FIELD, PLUS THE COMBINATION AC POWER SUPPLY/BATTERY
CHARGER WITH ALL CABLES. A VERY NEAT QRP RIG AND VERY FUN TO USE. THE LATER VERSION OF THIS RADIO
WAS THE PRC-74B WHICH HAD A RANGE OF 2-18 MEGACYCLES AND WAS MADE  IN 1965 AND 1966. BOTH RADIO
SETS ALSO DID CW  AS WELL.

THIS IS THE SCR-193 STATION COMPRISED OF THE BC-191 TRANSMITTER AND THE BC-312 RADIO RECEIVER.
THE TRANSMITTER WAS MANUFACTURED BY GENERAL ELECTRIC AND THE RECEIVER BY FARNSWORTH TV
AND RADIO. THE BC-312 RUNS ON THE ORIGINAL DYNAMOTOR WHILE THE BC-191 RUNS ON A N RA-34 U.S.
ARMY SIGNAL CORPS  AC POWER SUPPLY. A  T-17 CARBON MICROPHONE,LS-3 SPEAKER,AND AN R-44 KEY
ROUND OUT THE ACCESSORIES. THE RM-12D REMOTE IS A FUNCTIONAL PART OF THIS OPERATIONAL STATION.

THE U.S. NAVY RAK-6 AND RAL-7 RADIO RECEIVERS. THESE ARE TRULY GREAT RECEIVERS IN VERY
GOOD CONDITION AND ARE COSMETICALLY A 9.9 OUT OF 10. BOTH ARE OPERATIONAL.AND VERY
    WORTHY ADDITIONS TO THE COLLECTION.

THIS IS A COPY OF LT. GENERAL FRANCIS GRISWOLD'S ORIGINAL CARD  MODIFIED WITH MY INFOMATION
PLUS A DEDICATION TO A TRULY GREAT AMERICAN. I POSSESS THE ORIGINAL CARD WHICH IS FRAMED
AND ON THE WALL. THIS IS THE QSL CARD I SEND FOR CONTACTS UPON REQUEST BECAUSE THESE ARE
EXPENSIVE CARDS TO MAKE. THE QSL CARD IS QUITE A BIT BIGGER THAN THE PHOTO.
SPECIAL THANKS TO HENRY (WA7YBS) AND SHARON (KK7EI) ROGERS OF THE WESTERN HISTORIC RADIO
MUSEUM FOR THE ARTWORK AND TIME INVOLVED TO GET THIS CARD PRODUCED.
